Arcade Creek Corridor Plan

The Arcade Creek Watershed is supported by a variety of creeks - the two largest of which are Arcade Creek and Cripple Creek. Arcade Creek is about 16 miles long and Cripple Creek is about 10 miles long. This summer Jones & Stokes' geomorphologists and biologists surveyed both Arcade and Cripple creeks, examining the existing geomorphic, vegetative, and aquatic conditions of both corridors. From these observations, a variety of watershed restoration opportunities were identified and recorded. This information was presented to the Arcade Creek Watershed Group at its April 2008 meeting.

At the Watershed Group meeting, members were asked to provide comments on the information presented. Additionally, the public is asked to identify those restoration opportunities they feel are a priority for their community and/or the Watershed as a whole.

Click on a map segment to access a detailed map of that segment and photos showing the restoration opportunities for that area.
